Roar is an organic product, containing no artificial chemicals. It used to be
sold as a Cat Deterrent (in 2000 BBC Watchdog conducted a test of cat deterrents
and Silent Roar came out top) but due to the natural make up of the product and
new EU regulations it can now only legally be sold as an organic fertilizer.
Nevertheless the product is exactly the same and nothing has changed apart from
the fact we can no longer legally say it deters cats!</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Arial; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small; ">For
reference purposes only, this is what the manufacturer used to say:

borders can now be kept free from cats' poops! Just spread the pellets over
vulnerable areas to keep the cats away. The pellets are soaked in real essence
of lion dung and are then dried and sterilized. As cats are territorial, even
the bravest of pussies will retreat when they smell a lion has been there
first!”</span></span></p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Arial; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small; ">Pellets should be spread 3-4 inches apart.
During normal weather conditions a single application can last up to three
months but after heavy rain a few more pellets should be sprinkled to boost the
